Sunny Day at Zilker Park

Hey, well it's a beautiful day in Austin, Tx, so I had to make up for my bad mommy days of past. We had a nice family afternoon hitting Zilker park where I tried to get some 1yr old pics of bulldozer and some quality family time in. Our first stop was the playground, followed by riding the Zilker train, and ending with a fabulous lunch on Barton Springs.

The restaurant choices around Zilker are great, right? So, where did we eat? McDonalds. Uggh. I had always wondered what kept that place in business since there are so many better places to go. Romeo's, Chuy's, Shady Grove... the choices are endless. But then I realized, when you have two screaming kids ready to eat because the train took longer than you thought, Mickeydee's it is.

Well, enjoy the pics - these were taken at the beginning of our day when they were in better moods! Now they are both taking naps, so mommy is in a better mood! Next time, we'll pack PB& J's and picnic it!
